But I like how the emotional side of the story as I’ve planned it has developed with his involvement, rather than just being however many of chapters of Andrew progressively having a breakdown, haha. Chris went through a lot of changes in his early development and only really came into the story after Purity Town underwent some big plot rewrites earlier on and I realized that the Hero character would be so much more involved in the story (and that, being a visual medium, I actually needed to give him a design). I’m really happy that folks like seeing hero characters. But in terms of actual hero OCs, similar to Chris but to fill out the melee/ranger/summoner classes in an adventuring party, we won’t be getting any.Īll that being said, the core inspiration for this comic was always to do fun things with my favorite NPCs, so I hope that their active presence balances things out!ġ. And the Lunatic Cultist and Ninja may as well be OCs since only like 1% of their characters are supported by anything in-game, haha. There may be some other OCs popping up, whether in the background or in mentions of various characters’ families or something of the likes.
